Achievements:
- Received “Exemplary” and “Proficient” average ratings across each of Fulton County Schools assessment areas which include 1) Planning, 2) Instructional Delivery, 3) Assessment of and for Learning, 4) Learning Environment, and 5) Professionalism and Communication.
- One of two teachers selected at NES to mentor a Kennesaw State University TOSS student during the 2013-2014 academic year. Responsibilities include mentoring to an Early Childhood Education major in their senior year to successfully develop and implement a study unit while demonstrating best practices in early childhood education.
- Selected to teach Accelerated Math to all identified high performing 3rd grade students during the 2013-2014 academic year.

Achievements:
- Received high marks (averaged 4 0f 5, with both 4 and 5 designated as “above expectations”) under the state of Tennessee’s 5-point rating system implemented upon the state’s reception of Race-To-The-Top funds. Teachers are rated according to a stringent and rigorous rubric over several observations (both announced and unannounced) throughout the year.
- Successfully planned and executed lesson plans to implement state of Tennessee curriculum at Carter Elementary School, a title I school that has experienced top value-added scores, measuring student’s individual growth from year to year, over the last three years.
- Integrated technology in science curriculum through the development of ActivBoard lesson modules, utilizing auditory simulation and visual interactive graphics to engage and interest students in the learning process and foster a sense of curiosity and deeper understanding.
- Engaged students through interactive laboratory activities and hands-on investigative lessons that promoted discovery, curiosity, and cooperative learning.
